By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Use licence
You may download one copy of the material (information or software) on Bukmuk’s website for personal, non-commercial, temporary viewing only.
3. Disclaimer
The material on Bukmuk’s website is provided “as is”. Bukmuk makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and disclaims all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other rights.
4. Limitations
Bukmuk and its suppliers will not be liable for any damages (including loss of data or profit, or business interruption) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the material on Bukmuk’s website.
5. How the library works
Your account
A Bukmuk account is opened and run by a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and your details, like your delivery address and mobile number, up to date.
Plans
- Each plan gives your child a set number of books a month, for a set number of months. The plans, prices and lengths are on our plans page. A plan is paid once, up front, for its whole length.
- There is no deposit and no registration fee.
- If you buy a new plan while one is still running, the new plan starts on the day the current one ends.
- You can move up to a plan with more books a month from your account. The unused part of your current plan is taken off the price.
- Annual plans can be paused for up to one month. You ask for a pause on the website, and it starts once the books you have are returned.
Choosing, delivery and swaps
- You choose your books on the site and add them to your bag.
- Each plan includes free home deliveries and pickups every month, as shown on the plan. When we bring new books, we collect the ones your child has finished.
- Swap any time. There are no due dates and no late fees.
- If you want more deliveries in a month than your plan includes, an extra delivery is paid for at the price shown when you ask for it.

Looking after the books
The books belong to the library and go on to other children after yours. If a book is damaged or lost, we ask you to pay the discounted Amazon price for that book.
Paying
- Online payments (UPI, card or net banking) are handled by Razorpay.
- Cash on delivery is offered at checkout in some cases. If you choose it, our team collects the cash when they bring your books, and you cannot buy again until it has been collected.
- Coupon codes are checked at checkout and may not apply to every plan or account.
Credits and referrals
When a friend joins with your referral code, they get a discount and you get credit in your account. Credit can be used when you renew.
Gift plans
When you gift a plan, we email the person receiving it. They start the gift themselves, from a Bukmuk account on that email address.
